Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent we are looking to hire an R&D Engineer to join our R&D Department. As the R&D Engineer, you will contribute to new product development, design production tooling and equipment, and oversee prototype construction, testing and technical documentation. The role is based in Pedino Kilkis, Greece.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Participates in new product development teams.
  • Designs auxiliary production equipment (such as fixtures, jigs, moulds, etc.).
  • Oversees and completes prototype construction.
  • Performs all necessary engineering calculations.
  • Creates and maintains the required technical specifications in the ERP system.
  • Conducts technical tests and prepares the relevant reports.
  • Prepares all necessary documentation, including manufacturing drawings, bills of materials, reports, assembly instructions, etc.
  • Completes all necessary actions for products requiring certification by third-party bodies.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement and training activities.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design Engineering.
  • A relevant postgraduate degree may be considered an additional qualification.
  • Very good proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor).
  • Very good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Greek and English.
  • Knowledge of plastics and moulds will be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis will be considered an advantage.
