As a Design Verification Engineer, you will support the development, testing and verification of advanced battery products, with a focus on special and military applications. The role involves prototype assembly, test planning and execution, troubleshooting, and analysis of test results, in close collaboration with the Special Product Development and Testing teams. The role is based in Xanthi, Neo Olvio.

Key activities and responsibilities of the role include:

• Assemble battery pack prototypes according to technical specifications, in close collaboration with the Military Packs Production Department.
• Prepare and execute Design Verification Test Plans for batteries/products under development, including test specifications, test setup requirements, verification procedures, documentation of results and non-conformities, in close collaboration with the Special Product Development and Testing Teams.
• Set up and maintain laboratory/test bench activities, ensuring the required equipment, information, parts, BoM, and calibration requirements are in place.
• Provide technical guidance to Test/Prototype Technicians, supporting troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Interpret technical requirements and act as a communication link between relevant stakeholders and testing/prototype teams.
• Manage test-related data, assumptions, risks, and Review-Learn-Improve activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results.
• Develop and improve testing processes and ways of working to standardize activities, maximize equipment capability, and support project delivery.
• Control the Special Development Team’s inventory in Xanthi and ensure the timely maintenance and calibration of instruments and testing equipment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements.

Requirements

• BSc. Degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field. Alternatively, a technical qualification combined with relevant hands-on experience will be considered.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a testing, prototyping, laboratory, battery development, or similar technical role.
• Hands-on experience with prototype assembly, testing, and verification activities, preferably within battery, energy storage, electronics, or other complex technical products.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory and test equipment, such as power supplies, multimeters, soldering equipment, and related instrumentation.
• Good understanding of electrical schematics, wiring, electrical assembly, and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to understand and apply technical specifications, procedures, standards, and documentation requirements, including those applicable to military/defense products.
• Ability to analyze test results, identify issues and non-conformities, and support troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Good organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to manage test data, equipment, parts, and technical documentation accurately.
• Fluency in English and Greek, both written and verbal.
• Good computer skills, including MS Office and Windows.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a structured, hands-on, and cross-functional environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
