About the Role

A Technical Analyst, Integral Life Delivery Management is responsible for the development, deployment and support of Integral Life Application to meet business requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing solutions and development of new technical solutions to improve company’s operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality checks on risk management for application development deliverables.
  • Responsible for management updates on system related activities.
  • Understand functionalities and technical aspects of the system; analyze technical impact on interfacing systems.
  • Provide development of system design and technical documents.
  • Programming and perform codes review.
  • Responsible for the development of cost & time efficient Integral Life Application solutions to support the initiatives.
  • Drive technology modernization, automation, and process improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce technical debt within the Integral Life ecosystem.
  • Contribute actively to departmental and enterprise-wide technology initiatives, governance forums, and strategic transformation programs.
  • Build, coach, mentor, and develop team members through effective performance management, knowledge sharing, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous learning, and operational excellence within the team.
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery, support, and maintenance of the Integral Life Application landscape, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technology strategy, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure that all application development performed is in-line with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and IT Governance & MAS requirements.
  • Manage and address KPI of enhancements, problems and queries from users (BAU) and/or projects goals.
  • Achieve personal KPIs and contribute to Technology overall initiatives and goals.
  • Personal development is one of factors to be considered as well.
  • Responsible for communicating with Business Users of Integral Life Application and with other teams within Technology department to provide necessary support.

Requirements:

  • Degree in IT or related areas.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in application development in insurance industry.
  • Prior experience in Integral Life (former Life/Asia) development is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of life insurance business processes, policy administration systems, and associated regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of AS400, COBOL, Control Language and SQL development.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery methodologies, application governance, risk management, audit compliance, and IT controls.
  • Demonstrated experience leading application delivery teams, managing stakeholders, and driving successful project outcomes in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
