Job Description – Junior Structural Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Structural Engineer to join our Civil & Structural team in Bangalore. The role involves supporting the design and delivery of structural engineering projects, including building structures, cross-wall systems, and other property-sector developments, while ensuring compliance with relevant design standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in structural analysis, design, and calculations for building and property-sector projects.
- Prepare structural drawings, design calculations, reports, and technical documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support the design of concrete, steel, and other structural systems as required by the project.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other multidisciplinary teams to resolve design interfaces.
- Assist in reviewing drawings and technical deliverables for accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Apply relevant Indian and international structural design codes and standards, as applicable.
- Support project delivery in line with agreed timelines, quality requirements, and health and safety standards.
- Incorporate review comments and assist senior team members in resolving technical issues.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
- Approximately 1–4 years of experience in structural engineering or building design.
- Basic knowledge of structural analysis, design principles, and reinforced concrete and steel structures.
- Familiarity with structural design software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, or equivalent tools.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD; exposure to Revit Structure or BIM workflows is an advantage.
- Understanding of relevant structural design codes and standards.
- Good analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Role Summary
The Junior Structural Engineer will support the Bangalore Civil & Structural team in delivering structural design and engineering outputs for property-sector projects, including East Village and Cross Wall developments, under the guidance of experienced engineers.
