Graphic Designer, Assoc


As a content developer, you will play a critical role in building and expanding our marketing capabilities. You’ll have the opportunity to bring our products, services, capabilities, people, and technical expertise to life through photography, videography, graphic design, digital content, and creative campaigns.


Working closely with our sales, marketing, engineering, and operations team, you’ll help develop engaging content that showcases what we do and supports continued growth within our respective markets.  


Location: Middleburg Heights, OH


Salary Range: $53,000 -$57,000

Your Challenge:

Photography, Videography, and Visual Content (60%)

  • Develop and maintain a library of high-quality photography and video content showcasing Curtiss-Wright’s products, services, capabilities, facilities, employees, projects, and events.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate file naming and organization for digital assets.
  • Operate professional cameras, lighting, and related equipment to capture high-quality photographs and video footage.
  • Plan, shoot, edit, and produce video content for social media, presentations, conferences, campaigns, advertisements, and other marketing and communications initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to capture compelling visuals that demonstrate Curtiss-Wright’s products, technical expertise, and capabilities.
  • Photograph/video products, manufacturing processes, and company events as appropriate.
  • Edit, enhance, format, and optimize photographs and videos for their intended platforms and audiences.

Marketing Content and Design (30%)

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop content and creative assets that support marketing campaigns, advertisements, sales initiatives, and product launches.
  • Create graphics for social media, advertisements, presentations, digital graphics, and other marketing assets.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of website content, including photography, graphics, videos, and other digital assets.
  • Help translate technical information and complex products or services into clear, visually engaging content for customers and other external audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to ensure technical information presented is accurate and appropriately communicated.
  • Monitor industry, customer, and content trends to identify opportunities for new visual or digital content.

Operational Efficiency and Content Governance (10%)

  • Apply established brand standards, editorial guidelines, and tone across all marketing materials.
  • Ensure marketing and communication materials comply with applicable company policies.  
  • Protect confidential, classified, or otherwise restricted information in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements.
  • Participate in content reviews and approval workflows.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, and organizing trade show materials as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal teams as needed to support marketing and communications projects.
  • Perform other marketing, communications, and administrative duties as assigned.

Your Expertise:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Film, Photography/Videography, or related field.  Or 2+ years of experience in marketing, photography, videography, and graphic design in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Premier Pro, and After Effects preferred.
  • A portfolio or examples of photography, videography, graphic design, or other creative work is preferred.
  • Strong visual and creative instincts with an eye for composition, design, and storytelling.
  • Ability and willingness to learn technical products and services and communicate complex information in an engaging way.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with team members across the organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to ideas in a growing company.
