Join Altera's Embedded Solutions team and work on cutting-edge FPGA-SoC devices! As an experienced FPGA Designer in our Software Engineering department, you'll contribute to the implementation and validation of FPGA designs and embedded software features for customer applications targeting our leading-edge FPGAs. This dynamic role provides a unique opportunity to work hands-on with hardware and software, including development kits, while gaining experience in digital design and programming.
You'll collaborate with diverse teams across Silicon design, CAD tools, applications engineering, and product planning, gaining insights into how holistic customer solutions are developed to meet market needs and deliver exceptional user experiences.
We’re looking for a motivated self-starter with strong communication and collaboration skills, who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Our compensation is designed to reflect the Canadian labour market. The actual salary offered may vary based on several factors, including the position’s location, as well as the candidate’s experience, skills, training, and job-specific knowledge. In addition to base salary, we offer performance-based incentive opportunities that reward both individual contributions and overall company success.
Estimated Salary Range: $110K – $120K CAD

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science and/or prolonged course of study in a specialized field or equivalent experience.
- Validation of FPGA designs and embedded software features
