Our LGT Fund Administrators (Luxembourg) S.à r.l. (the “Company”) provides fund administration services to mainly private equity funds. The administration group has over EUR 41 billion in assets under administration. The Company has established an office in Luxembourg and is looking for a motivated Compliance Manager / Responsable Du Contrôle for Funds to join a dedicated team of 14 specialists, focusing on providing a quality service to our German and international client base. Become part of our Compliance team while also taking responsibility for RC Fund Services. While the Compliance team oversees the regular compliance obligations of our Luxembourg administration entity, RC Fund Services covers approximately 100 Luxembourg funds and entities (SIFs, RAIFs, and AIFs).

In addition to supporting the Compliance function, you will assume Fund RC mandates and act as the designated Responsable du Contrôle (RC) for a portfolio of Luxembourg funds. The entities serviced are predominantly group-internal fund structures with a high degree of standardization and strong synergies across service providers. Most funds focus on Private Equity, with a smaller number investing in Real Estate.

You will report to the local Compliance Officer and RC of the Company in Luxembourg. The primary focus of this role is to support the Compliance Officer in the execution of the Company's compliance framework and monitoring activities. In addition, you will take on and manage the Fund RC mandates assigned to you.

 

As Compliance Manager, you will support the Compliance Officer and RC of the Company through:

  • Performing controls as per the Compliance Monitoring Plan;
  • Reviewing alerts within the Compliance system (e.g. in relation to employee transactions);
  • Preparing AML Letter and discussing observations and recommendations with relevant stakeholders;
  • Supporting in the preparation of reports for Conducting Officers and the Board od Directors;
  • Acting as deputy to the local Data Protection responsible.

 

In addition, as Responsable du Contrôle (RC) for Funds you will:

  • Prepare regular reports to Fund Boards, attend fund Board meetings and present RC reports in your capacity as appointed RC;
  • Perform regular AML/CFT control testing of the funds' operating model and service providers, discuss findings with key stakeholders and report results to the Boards;
  • Prepare and perform regulatory required filings and act as contact person for CSSF/AED on behalf of the funds;
  • Ensure that relevant statutory authorities (esp. FIU) are informed of suspicious activities on a timely basis;
  • Act as key escalation point for AML/CFT matters and keep the RR & Boards informed of relevant regulatory developments;
  • Advise Fund Boards, senior management and group-internal staff on AML/CTF related matters (AML on assets, Investor Onboarding Teams, etc.).

 

This position may involve occasional business travel to group affiliates located in Dublin and Pfäffikon.

Requirements

  • University degree in business or law;
  • At least 5 years of professional working experience with AML/CFT and within the Luxembourg Fund industry; Previous experience as an RC is an advantage;
  • Eligibility for approval from the AED and CSSF to act as Responsable du Contrôle of Funds;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Luxembourg AML and other applicable regulatory requirements;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and advanced functions. Experience with AI tools such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot is a plus;
  • Excellent command of English is required. Knowledge of German is highly desirable;
  • Self-driven and capable of managing complex tasks independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Excellent communicator with strong analytical skills and the ability to challenge constructively.
