Casual Opportunities | Must be available for evening shifts

The Role

We're seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Ushers to join our Crown Live Theatre team on a casual basis.

Working across a variety of world-class theatre productions, live entertainment events and performances, you'll play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences from the moment patrons arrive until the final curtain call.

As one of the first faces our guests see, you'll create joyful moments through genuine care and connection, ensuring every guest interaction reflects Crown's commitment to service excellence.

In this role you'll:

• Welcome, assist and farewell guests attending theatre productions, concerts and live events.
• Check tickets and guide patrons to their allocated seating efficiently and professionally.
• Provide accurate information regarding venue facilities, amenities and event-related enquiries.
• Assist guests with cloakroom services and other general front-of-house support.
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve enquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
• Support patron and staff safety by maintaining awareness of venue procedures, exits and potential hazards.
• Escalate guest concerns or operational issues to the Front of House Manager when required.
• Contribute to a positive team culture while delivering exceptional service experiences.

About You

You'll bring the following:

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role delivering exceptional service.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for hospitality, entertainment and guest experience.
• The ability to work confidently within a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• A professional, approachable and positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, public holidays and around performance schedules.
