The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Buyer, Services | Αγοραστής/τρια Υπηρεσιών”, for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will be reported to the Services Category Manager of the Supply Chain department in Skouries.
Main Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories (e.g., equipment, services, consumables) across HG operations.
· Analyze procurement data to identify synergies, optimize supplier base, and reduce total cost of ownership.
· Coordinate with internal stakeholders to define technical specifications and long-term category requirements.
· Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and performance evaluation processes.
· Draft, review, and manage medium- to long-term contracts, framework agreements, and pricing structures.
· Ensure contract terms align with operational needs, risk mitigation practices, and regulatory requirements.
· Act as a key procurement liaison across HG Sites for assigned categories.
· Align procurement strategies across departments and standardize sourcing approaches across sites.
· Provide category-specific guidance to site-based Transactional Buyers.
· Identify and execute cost reduction initiatives and procurement process improvements.
· Prepare reports on the category of spend, savings, and supplier performance.
· Support the annual procurement planning and budgeting process.
· Ensure adherence to HG procurement policies, ethics, and compliance standards.
· Maintain all procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation in line with audit and SOX requirements.
· Support the development and maintenance of category-related risk registers.
Requirements:
· Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
· Certifications in Procurement (e.g., CIPS, EIPM) are a plus.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic procurement or category management.
· Experience managing multi-site procurement or complex contracts is preferred.
· Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills.
· Analytical and strategic thinking.
· Cross-functional communication and relationship-building skills.
· Experience with SAP or other ERP procurement systems.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
· Understanding of legal and commercial terms in procurement contracts.
