The Opportunity:

Leads the design, development, implementation and maintenance of a major website. Applies advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.

You Have:   

• 5+ years of experience of developing websites or web applications 

• 5+ years of experience using JavaScript and PHP 

• Experience writing source code for new applications or reviewing, generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications or software

• Knowledge of database systems and MySQL

• Ability to work across both front‑end and back‑end development, including user interfaces, middleware, services, and APIs, to deliver complete solutions

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or 8+ years of experience in Web Development or Software Engineering in lieu of a degree 

Nice If You Have:    

• Experience using content management systems, such as Joomla

• Experience with AWS

• Experience project management tools such as Jira or Confluence

• Experience with front‑end frameworks and fundamentals, such as HTML, CSS, responsive design, and accessibility

• Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment

• Knowledge of CMS plug-ins and extensions

• Knowledge of building, enhancing, web application, or API 

• Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization 

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
