The Opportunity 
Are you a strategic leader who can own the growth of a multi-channel distribution ecosystem? As a member of our Insurance Executive Leadership Team, the Vice President, Sales & Distribution, is the strategic architect of our insurance expansion strategy. You would be directly accountable for the growth and cohesive performance of our fully integrated insurance operation spanning Agency Operations, Broker Distribution, Digital Development, and Marketing. You will lead the large-scale transformation of our multi-channel environment, accelerating digital capabilities and brand presence to deliver innovative solutions for our more than one million members across Alberta. It is an exciting time to be an Alberta-based carrier; as a membership-driven organization, you have the unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference by responding directly to the evolving needs of Albertans. Working closely with underwriting, product, and technology leaders, you will ensure our integrated operations meet the evolving needs of our members and partners.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

• You will develop and execute the enterprise sales and distribution strategy to ensure alignment with corporate growth and profitability objectives. 

• By providing executive leadership over insurance marketing, you will oversee high-impact customer acquisition initiatives and retention. 

• You will lead the broker distribution strategy, strengthening engagement and productivity with Alberta-based broker partners. 

• You will oversee agency operations to ensure strong governance, compliance, and operational scalability across the channel. 

• Through partnership with IT and product teams, you will drive the development of innovative digital sales platforms and broker tools. 

• As a mentor to high-performing teams, you will foster a culture of innovation and accountability while building strong cross-functional partnerships. 
   

What You Bring to the Table 

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced executive leadership credentials degree being highly preferred. 

• You have 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, ideally within insurance or financial services, including significant responsibility in sales, distribution, or broker management. 
• You have a proven history of managing complex, high-volume multi-channel strategies and leveraging AI and emerging technologies to deliver sustained, enterprise-level revenue growth. 
• You are a master of stakeholder leadership, possessing the sophisticated relationship-building skills required to bridge diverse business lines and translate collaborative partnerships into tangible business results. 
• You possess a strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting dynamics, and the regulatory landscape, with the business acumen to navigate a fully integrated, multi-vertical organization.
