Your role

• Demonstrate creativity and innovation in the development of engineering designs and solutions, while maintaining safety and balancing operational flexibility, reliability and whole‑life cost.
• Prepare track design deliverables such as alignment and profile drawings, track schematics, design models, trackwork specifications, and yard and maintenance facility general layouts, cross sections and details.
• Interface with multi‑discipline teams, clients and owners’ engineers; interface with internal track team to plan and execute on deliverables.
• Provide construction support services including shop drawing reviews, RFIs, non‑conformance reports, as‑built survey analysis, etc; perform occasional field engineering services.
• Perform engineering analyses for ride quality and safety.

About you

• Professional Registration with PEO.
• Minimum 10 years experience in track design, or a combination of design and construction. Capability, technical strength and collaborative attitude are more important than years.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Familiar with relevant standards (AREMA, EN, TCRP, etc.).
• Solution‑oriented, team player, resourceful.

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $125,000 - $171,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
