About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer in Test Automation and Agentic workflows. In this role you will contribute to the design and build of intelligent automation systems that automate test execution, optimize test scheduling, and create scalable frameworks that quality teams will use.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and proficiency with modern automation tools such as N8N, OpenClaw, and Hermes. You will work at the intersection of AI and test automation, leveraging your expertise in Ansible, Linux, and Python to create next-generation testing solutions that drive efficiency and innovation across our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI Agents and Agentic workflows to automate test execution and test scheduling processes.
- Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable seamless integration between AI agents and various testing tools and systems.
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and test environment setup.
- Responsible to upkeep and maintenance of assigned lab equipment such as Enterprise servers and Computer PCs.
- Execute test automation, monitor and triage failures, and report results to stake-holders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Productive use of AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in day-to-day engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, bash/shell scripting, Powershell programming with demonstrated experience in building automation scripts and applications
- Hands-on experience working with Linux operating systems, including command-line tools, shell scripting, and system administration
- Candidate must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills to help in finding root cause and resolution of problems
- Experience with OS installation, Linux CLI and network setup
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of test automation principles, CI/CD pipelines, and software testing methodologies
- Knowledge or experience with Git, Jenkins and Dockers is a plus.
- Experience with NVMe SSDs and NVMe controllers is a plus.
COMPENSATION: $35/hr - $45/hr
