The Opportunity:
Avantor is op zoek naar een gemotiveerde Onderhoudstechnieker om ons team in Leuven te versterken. In deze uitdagende functie werk je in een zeer afwisselende rol en dynamische omgeving. Je zal namelijk instaan voor al wat onderhoud of verbetering nodig heeft op onze site met 3 gebouwen te Leuven: een administratief gebouw, een distributiecenter en een productieomgeving. Als manusje van alles, los je storingen op of sta je in voor de samenwerking met een gespecialiseerde firma.

Werktijden
Je werktijden zijn flexibel, meestal 7u30 –16u, je bent bereid om enkele dagen per maand van wacht te zijn. Een bedrijfswagen wordt beschikbaar gesteld tijdens de wacht.
Het team
Deze functie maakt deel uit van de Facility en onderhoudsafdeling in Leuven. Je komt terecht in een gezellig team van 6 dat zorgt dat onze machines, gebouwen en faciliteiten het juiste onderhoud, reparaties en interventies krijgen.
Bij ons ben je niet zomaar een collega, maar onderdeel van één team. We werken nauw samen, zijn flexibel en helpen elkaar waar nodig—ook als het gaat om het invullen van uren.
Wat we zoeken
Opleiding: Je hebt bij voorkeur een diploma Secundair Onderwijs in elektromechanica of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
Ervaring: Kennis (studies) en ervaring in het oplossen van elektrische storingen.
Kennis van elektrotechniek is een vereiste
Talenkennis: Je hebt uitstekende communicatie in het Nederlands en een goede kennis van het Engels.
Je bent vaardig met computers ,proactief en leert snel.
Je hebt een sterke teamgeest maar kunt ook zelfstandig werken.
Je beschikt over een logisch redeneervermogen en hebt een oog voor detail.
Hoe je zal groeien en een impact zal hebben
Onderhoudswerkzaamheden uitvoeren en verhelpen van storingen
Controleren van apparatuur en installaties, signaleren van (dreigende) defecten, repareren indien mogelijk of contacteren van een externe partij om het probleem op te lossen;
Ondersteunen van het opstarten (regulier en na reparatie) van installaties.
Besturen de machines volgens interne technische specificaties.
