As a Technical Trainer/Solution Architect - Australia/New Zealand, you will be responsible for the efficient handling of technical queries, preparing training material, providing training and solutions (including but not limited to CO2) for all Copeland products. You will conduct training and provide solutions (including but not limited to CO2) on application, installation will be a key part of the job. You will be responsible for business development via developing and delivering technical solution (including but not limited to CO2) inspired by customer needs, pain points thru daily interaction with customers & market will be another key part of the job.
You will
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on Copeland’s products and technologies to end user, Wholesaler staff members and contractors to communicate value
Create and maintain up-to-date training materials, including presentations, handouts, and technical documentation
Collaborate with Wholesaler staff to administer on-site training sessions at branches for contractors / end users
Collaborate with product management and other marketing teams to stay informed on new product launches and updates
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback and performance assessments
Stay up to date on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices
Participate in industry events and tradeshows
Communicate and share knowledge / experiences internally
Collaborate with primary account owners to develop comprehensive Air Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration & Cold Chain solutions (including but not limited to CO2) that address specific customer needs and challenges
Analyze customer requirements and business objectives to design tailored system architectures; drive solution development by integrating various offerings into a cohesive, end-to-end solution
Create detailed technical specification and solution designs, ensuring scalability, performance, and efficiency
Conduct technical discovery sessions with contractors to understand their existing systems and future goals
Develop and present solution proposals (including but not limited to CO2), including technical designs, ROI analyses, and implementation roadmaps
Participate in internal account planning sessions and identify any opportunities for solution selling
Identify and support any opportunities for upsell, cross-sell and land new customers

Provide support to customers outside of Australia/New Zealand as needed
Perform related duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Required Skills and Competencies:
University degree in Refrigeration/HVAC/Electronic Control systems, or equivalent in Engineering, minimum ten (10) years air-conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) industry experience
Valid Driver License
Excellent hands-on technical knowledge of cold chain and compressors (freon and CO2 solutions) including variable & fixed speed, system design, electrical systems/inverter driver, controllers, PLC programming and field trouble shooting
Knowledge in oil free compressor and system development is an added advantage
Good written and oral English skills
Solid computer skills including MS Office, Internet software, E-mail, Windows
Excellent spreadsheet knowledge required
Excellent planning, organizing and prioritizing skills
Attention to detail and an eye for errors
Able to communicate with all levels within the organization
Able to learn and work independently, whilst still working as an integral part of the team
