Summary:

Assists with developing and leading classroom activities and developmentally appropriate programs.

Responsibilities:

Supervises children to ensure safety. Ensures classroom meets local licensing standards.Works collaboratively with the teacher to assess learning/development needs and to develop age appropriate learning solutions.Attends periodical staff meetings.Assist the teacher with implementing the teaching schedule and curriculum.Follows accreditation and licensing policies and practices.Assist teachers with course progress report procedures.Applies knowledge of learning principles to engage the children in appropriate activities.
