As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional student experience throughout our student employment programs. Working closely with the Manager, Student Recruitment, Talent Acquisition Partners, and business stakeholders, you will lead the planning and execution of internal student programming and events that foster engagement, development, and connection. You will also support the coordination of external campus recruitment activities while serving as an ambassador for our student programs and employment brand.

Your Responsibilities:  

• Coordinate and execute internal student events, programming, and engagement initiatives that enhance student experience throughout the work term.
• Support the development of a structured annual student event and programming calendar aligned with learning, networking, and development objectives.
• Coordinate student onboarding, communications, recognition activities, and other engagement opportunities.
• Assist with the planning and execution of external recruitment events, including career fairs, information sessions, networking events, and campus activities.
• Support Talent Acquisition activities for the Student Recruitment team, including interview scheduling, candidate communications, pre-employment screening, and recruitment administration.
• Collaborate with business partners, HR Operations, and Talent Acquisition Partners to support student recruitment and employer branding initiatives.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support student program reporting and data management.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Partners to develop creative briefs that support sourcing campaigns. Manage the rollout and posting of these campaigns.
• Participate in Talent Acquisition quality and process improvement initiatives.

Your Skills:  

• Strong event planning, coordination, and project management skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and demonstrate creativity in delivering engaging programs and events.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Customer service mindset with a passion for creating positive experiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience coordinating stakeholders, vendors, and logistics to successfully deliver events and initiatives.
• Knowledge of recruitment processes and applicant tracking systems is considered an asset.
• Ability to analyze information, identify opportunities for improvement, and support process enhancements.

Your Experience:  

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, talent acquisition and/or marketing

• Post-secondary education in a related field (business, administration, human resources, or marketing preferred)

The expected salary range for this position is $55,223 - $73,170.  Placement within range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.
