We are seeking a highly skilled, goal-oriented Staff Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Staff Quality Engineer, you’ll provide technical leadership and strategic direction for enterprise‑scale quality engineering across multiple applications and domains. This role designs and drives end‑to‑end test automation strategies, advances automation frameworks (including Tricentis Tosca), AI use cases, and influences how quality is embedded throughout the SDLC using DevSecOps best practices. Acting as a subject‑matter expert, you’ll partner with Product, Engineering, Business, and Enterprise Automation teams to identify complex automation opportunities, guide architectural decisions, and prove new technologies through POCs. Beyond hands‑on automation, you’ll mentor and coach QE engineers, lead complex defect triage and quality planning, and ensure alignment between quality outcomes, platform roadmaps, and enterprise delivery goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Tricentis TOSCA.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
  • Deliver end‑to‑end automation coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Maintain, enhance, and optimize reusable TOSCA modules, components, and automation assets.
  • Execute automation test suites, analyze results, and perform defect triage and root‑cause analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with Development, Product, Business, and cross‑functional testing teams to ensure high‑quality delivery.
  • Support automation activities during releases, including validation and sign‑off.
  • Maintain test artifacts, execution reports, dashboards, and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct proof‑of‑concepts (POCs) for complex automation scenarios.
  • Communicate QE status, progress, issues, risks, and mitigation plans clearly and timely to the key stakeholders and broader team.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Test Automation Team to define and refine automation frameworks and approaches.
  • Review and provide first‑level signoff on automation output to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and expand automation regression suites across multiple applications and functional domains.
  • Develop QE project plans and track quality‑engineering progress against established milestones.
  • Coach and mentor QE team members, contributing to capability development and best‑practice adoption.
  • Perform highly complex testing to ensure systems are implemented and functioning as designed.
  • Create comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex projects using business requirements and technical design documentation.
  • Execute complex test cases both manually and through automation as needed.
  • Lead defect triage for complex issues, including assessment, documentation, and retesting; act as a subject‑matter expert in specialized testing areas.
  • Lead future automation technology enablement and AI use cases to drive efficiency and acceleration of delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT experience
  • 10+ years in IT, with 8+ years in QA automation and development.
  • Strong proficiency in Tosca, CI/CD integration (Jenkins), cloud technologies, version control (Git), and test data management.
  • Strong experience in TDD, BDD, ATDD frameworks.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level QA automation strategies, frameworks, and governance models.
  • Experience delivering test automation for SaaS applications and related integration
  • Excellent leadership, consulting, and mentoring abilities; strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong scripting and programming knowledge
  • Knowledge of Performance or Security Testing concepts
  • Experience leveraging AI in the delivery of work components.

Nice to Have:

  • TOSCA Certifications (AS1 / AS2)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
