Are you ready to take the next big step in your culinary career? Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is looking for a Part-Time Staff Cafeteria Commis I who shares our passion for food and cooking and is willing to learn from and contribute to our culinary team.

What you will do:

• Prepare and serve nutritious, high-quality meals for employees in the Staff Cafeteria.
• Assist with daily food preparation, cooking, plating, and service in accordance with established recipes, menus, and production sheets.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations and a positive dining experience for staff.
• Support inventory management, food storage, and proper handling procedures.
• Follow all health, safety, and safe food handling requirements.
• Perform continuous standing for up to 8 hours per shift and safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Assist other culinary operations when required.

What you will bring:

• A passion for food preparation and delivering quality meals in a fast-paced environment.
• A minimum of 1 year of kitchen or cook experience in a high-volume food and beverage operation.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, can-do attitude.
• The ability to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Strong communication skills and a good command of the English language.
• The ability to read and follow recipes, menus, and production sheets, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Proficient knife skills and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• An outgoing personality, adaptability, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to staff.
• Valid Food Handler's Certification is an asset.
• Culinary training diploma or certificate is preferred.

Schedule & Hours:

Successful candidates possess flexible availability and the ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
