About the Role

The Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer will develop, modify, and complete software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing. They debug software products through the use of detailed tests to apply and maintain quality standards for Workday's products. The Sr. QA Engineer will also ensure that system tests are efficiently completed, documented and resolved.

Responsibilities:

-Develop test plans and scripts. Ensure test scripts and activities meet business requirements

-Analyze test results and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.

-Ensure that all issues that are subsequently resolved are then re-tested for resolution.

-Complete functional test cases based on test plan

-Comprehensive testing and tracking of issues in release(s)

-Identify and communicate high-risk areas to the development team

About You

Basic Qualifications:
 

-8+ years experience in software quality assurance engineering, defining test strategies, leading testing efforts, and ensuring high-quality software releases.

-Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Other Qualifications:
 

-Experience working in an IT or Quality Assurance environment or business analysis work around automated or manual testing techniques and approaches

-Experience with end to end testing - Testing Planning, Test Execution, UAT, Regression.

-Experience crafting automation test suites at scale, in at least one of these tools: JUnit, Bamboo, Silk Test, Selenium, or Cypress.

Listed below is the base salary range applicable to this position. Workday pay ranges (and the precise pay offered to the successful candidate) are based on a number of objective criteria such as relevant experience and skills, and educational qualifications, level of responsibility, demands of the role, work location and business need. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants awarded by Workday Inc. Primary Location Base Pay Range: €69,600 SEK - €104,400 SEK Sweden
