Position Summary

The Delivery Program Manager is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of strategic programs and projects across the organization. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Operations, and other business functions, to ensure initiatives are aligned with organizational priorities and deliver measurable business value. 

The Program Manager will manage multiple priorities, establish clear program plans and governance, track progress and performance, proactively identify risks and dependencies, and provide transparent reporting to stakeholders and leadership. Success in this role requires strong organization, communication, problem-solving, relationship management, and the ability to navigate changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

Program Leadership and Oversight

• Assist in the planning and coordination of projects from initiation to completion.
• Support the definition of project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• Assist in developing and implementing program strategies that align with organizational objectives and deliver value.
• Help track project progress, maintain schedules, and report on status to the team.
• Organize project meetings and document minutes, action items, and follow-ups.

Team Leadership and Development

• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and workflow.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

• Collaborate with key Program Managers to ensure program objectives are met.
• Collaborate with various teams (e.g., Product Engineering, Marketing, Sales, etc.) to align program objectives with business goals.
• Ensure alignment between program goals and organizational strategy through effective communication and relationship management.
• Foster strong working relationships with internal and external partners to ensure seamless execution.

Resource and Financial Management

• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, enhance efficiencies, and improve ROI for programs.
• Allocate resources effectively, managing team assignments and project workloads to optimize performance.

Risk Management and Problem Solving

• Assist in identifying potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues that could impact program success.
• Monitor progress and performance of programs and make data-driven decisions to address bottlenecks or challenges.

Process Improvement and Methodology

• Assist in identifying process gaps and drive initiatives for process improvement to ensure smooth program execution.
• Standardize program management practices across the organization to improve communication, transparency, and reporting.

Reporting and Metrics

• Provide timely and transparent reporting to senior management on the status of key programs, highlighting achievements, risks, and key decisions.
• Track and report on project performance metrics, analyzing data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Assist in post-program reviews and lessons-learned sessions to improve future program delivery.

Qualifications

Preferred:

• PMP or other relevant certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of project management principles is a plus.

• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities                                                 
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a program management career                             
• Familiarity with Agil methodologies is a plus

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Program Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 
• 3-5 years of experience in program or project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects. 

Compensation: $90,000 - $105,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
