The Spa Receptionist is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and professional experience for all guests visiting Flamingo Resort & Spa. This position serves as a primary point of contact for spa guests and is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while supporting the daily operations of the Spa.

The Spa Receptionist manages guest arrivals and departures, appointment scheduling, phone and email inquiries, retail transactions, membership and amenity information, and general administrative responsibilities. This role works closely with the Spa Supervisor to ensure smooth daily operations, excellent communication, and a consistent guest experience.

The ideal candidate is personable, organized, attentive to detail, comfortable in a fast-paced hospitality environment, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Warmly welcome and acknowledge all guests entering the Spa, creating a professional, friendly, and relaxing first impression.
• Provide exceptional guest service by assisting with Spa services, treatments, amenities, memberships, packages, promotions, retail products, and resort offerings.
• Schedule, modify, confirm, and cancel Spa appointments accurately using the designated reservation system.
• Monitor the daily appointment schedule and coordinate treatment room and service provider availability to support an efficient guest experience.
• Manage waitlists, cancellations, appointment openings, and guest requests while communicating changes promptly with the Spa team.
• Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Answer incoming telephone calls, emails, and guest inquiries in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
• Assist guests with questions, requests, special accommodations, and concerns, escalating issues to the Spa Supervisor or Club & Spa Operations Manager when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate guest information, appointment notes, preferences, and other required documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, polished, and guest-ready reception area at all times.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and other daily administrative duties as assigned.
• Maintain knowledge of current Spa services, promotions, resort amenities, policies, procedures, and local offerings in order to confidently assist guests.
• Communicate effectively with the Spa Supervisor, Club & Spa Operations Manager, Spa practitioners, Club & Spa team, and other hotel departments.
• Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality and handle sensitive guest information appropriately.

What are we looking for?

QUALIFICATIONS

• • Previous customer service, hospitality, hotel, spa, salon, fitness, or front desk experience preferred.
