We're seeking a Software Engineer Intern with an interest in responsive web design and modern web development technologies. As a member of our software team, the successful candidate will participate in multiple stages of the software development lifecycle, which includes planning, designing, developing, testing, and deploying software.

Responsibilities

• Develop user-friendly, responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, and Next.js.
• Support the development of reusable frontend components and modern web experiences.
• Ensure all web design is optimized for the best possible display across multiple devices.
• Contribute to full-stack application development, including frontend features, backend functionality, and system integrations.
• Support integrations with Magento, Strapi, and other headless content management systems.
• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code as per specifications.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to team discussions on system architecture and design.
• Identify opportunities for system enhancements and support the implementation of improvements.
• Maintain and upgrade existing software, ensuring continued compliance with internal standards and industry best practices.
• Debug, test, improve, and redesign tasks as necessary.
• Prepare technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Understanding of responsive web design and familiarity with frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with React.js, Next.js, or other modern frontend frameworks is preferred.
• Interest in full-stack software development and system integrations.
• Interest in eCommerce frameworks such as Magento and headless content management systems such as Strapi.
• Familiarity with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
• Knowledge of coding best practices and principles.
• Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
