Global Business Services

Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview*

Eprofile Service is part of shared service platform, which serves the banks customer profile retrieved from various source of records systems, aggregates the information, caching for stale data requirement. Processing the various business pules specific to channel and sharing the profile based on demand.

Job Description*. 

The resource should be able to enhance and maintain existing enterprise application - eProfile.

This can involve On-boarding new consuming applications and enhancement of existing functionality.

The resource will be responsible for the analysis and design for any new requirements

review the same with platform engineering team. Implementation of code and collaborate with team for review.

Ensuring any change pushed to higher environment are error free.

Provide suggestion on process and project optimization.

Responsibilities*
The resource should be able to independently handle analysis, design, development and execution for the initiatives assigned. Eventually scale up to mentor and guide new resources.

·       Own the delivery of weekly and monthly deliverables, working closely with the leads to ensure on time delivery consistently and with high quality.

·       Actively participate in code review to understand the best practices followed in project and provide suggestions for improvement.

·       Should actively participate in all agile meeting like scrum, sprint planning for setting up clear goals and expectation on deliverables. Should proactively bring up any impediments affecting delivery.

·       Taking ownership of the initiatives assigned from design phase to implementation.

·       Use the best of practices to ensure the code pushed is error free and meets application standards.

·       Skillful in defect management, drive triages with other teams to ensure the root cause is identified and fixed.

·       Domain & Technical Skill enhancement, Ability convert business requirement into technical implementation.

Requirements*

Education*: BE / MCA
Certifications If Any: NA
Experience Range*:  4 to 8 years.

Foundational skills*

• Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring boot, BRMS (Groovy), Web services JAX-WS, JAX-RS.
• Server - IBM Websphere Application Server, Apache Tomcat
• Mapping framework like Dozer, MapStruct.
• CI/CD- Jenkins, Bit bucket, Maven Dependencies -POM and BOM
• Knowledge in cloud and its monitoring tools will be handy
• Knowledge in creating Agents.

Desired Skills

• Log4j, Splunk.

Work Timings*: 11.30 AM to 8.30 PM IST (Need to flexible as per business need)
