Essential Functions
Technical
- Self-sufficient in at least one large area of the codebase
- Mastery of at least one language and developing mastery of multiple other languages, frameworks and tools
- Identifies viable alternative solutions and presents them
- Understanding of relational databases, development frameworks, and commonly used industry libraries.
- Understanding of testing and integration testing techniques
- Moderate understanding of how a handful of key sub-systems interoperate
- Ability to read and understand existing code and offer recommendations for improvement
- Understanding of OWASP
Process
- SDLC processes are followed, including adopting agile-based processes/meetings, peer code-reviews, and technical preparations required for scheduled releases.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:-
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2+ years of professional software engineering experience in a distributed web application development environment (e.g. microservices, APIs, DB integration, queues, topics, caches, containers, serverless).
Strong hands-on experience with C# and the .NET / .NET Core framework, with proven history designing, building, and consuming RESTful services and APIs.
Experience with Azure services and APIs, or equivalent cloud vendor experience (e.g., AWS).
Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments.
Experience with source control systems such as Git.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment methodologies.
Experience working in an Agile software development environment (e.g., Scrum).
Experience working with 3rd party APIs, workflow, and integration architectures.
Understanding of secure coding principles, OWASP guidelines, and agile software development lifecycles.
Desirable Skills:
Travel Domain Experience: Prior experience in corporate travel, booking engines, or expense management platforms. (Note: Candidates with strong Java experience will be considered if accompanied by Travel domain expertise).
AI & Modern Developer Workflows: Experience utilizing AI coding assistants, models, or harness frameworks (e.g., Harness, Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development.
Experience with data processing, data engineering, or integrations with AI/ML services and APIs.
Exposure to containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
