Über diese Software Engineer Stelle bei ServiceTitan
Ready to be a Titan?
As a Software Engineer on the Reporting and Analytics team, you will help build the dashboards, visualizations, and reporting experiences that help ServiceTitan customers and internal teams turn data into decisions. Your primary strength is the front end — building fast, intuitive, data-rich UIs — but you're expected to work across the full stack. You'll work within a squad, picking up well-scoped full-stack tasks and growing your skills with guidance from senior teammates. We build for perfection, use modern tools across the Microsoft .NET and JavaScript ecosystems, have an amazing culture, and love solving complex problems. If you share the same values, you might find yourself in a perfect company.
What You'll Do
- Implement front-end features for reporting and analytics products — dashboards, charts, tables, and interactive data visualizations — based on designs and requirements from your team
- Contribute to lightweight design work (UI/UX flows, component layout, wireframing) for reporting features, using AI tools to accelerate design exploration
- Build and modify APIs and services (primarily .NET/C#) that support front-end reporting features, under the guidance of senior engineers
- Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and front-end) to ensure feature quality, using AI tools to generate and extend test coverage
- Contribute to deployment and basic DevOps tasks — CI/CD pipeline changes, environment configuration, release checklists — with AI assistance and senior support
- Work with your squad to understand requirements, identify tradeoffs, and flag when a task needs to be broken down or clarified
- Write clean, well-tested code and actively participate in code review
- Partner with other engineers on the team to understand data contracts so reporting features reflect data accurately
- Participate in on-call rotation for reporting-facing issues, triaging bugs with support from senior teammates
- Use AI tools to extend your capability across the stack — code generation, debugging, test writing, design assistance, and operational tasks outside your core front-end expertise
What You'll Bring
- 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience, with a primary focus on front-end development
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern front-end framework (React preferred; Angular also considered)
- Solid HTML/CSS skills and attention to building clean, usable, data-dense UIs
- Working experience with back-end development — C#/.NET and Web APIs, or comparable server-side experience in another stack
- Comfort working with SQL and relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server or similar)
- Experience building or consuming REST APIs and integrating front-end apps with backend services
- Willingness and ability to pick up QA, basic DevOps, and lightweight design tasks outside your core specialty, using AI tools to close skill gaps
- Comfort using AI coding assistants as a core part of your daily workflow — not just for front-end code, but to extend into backend, testing, and deployment work
- Ability to independently tackle well-scoped problems and communicate clearly when a problem needs more context
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Nice to Have
- Experience with data visualization libraries (D3, Chart.js, Highcharts, Recharts, or similar)
- Exposure to reporting/BI tools or concepts (embedded analytics, dashboarding frameworks, OLAP concepts)
- Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, etc.) in front-end applications
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, or cloud deployment basics
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
- Familiarity with design/prototyping tools (Figma or similar)
- Prior experience using Claude or similar LLM-based coding/agent tools to work outside your primary discipline
