A Day in the Life:

JOB SUMMARY

• Ensure that products are tested to meet legal and industry requirements, and company’s safety and quality standards

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide testing support to RTW supply chain that managed by NY & HK Supply Chain office
• Conduct risk assessment and line review in order to keep testing protocol enforced in both development and bulk production stages
• Review and advice on RTW testing reports from approved testing labs to ensure compliance with company’s standards and regulatory requirements
• Work with cross-functional teams internally and communicate with suppliers on improving testing performance
• Manage care label process for RTW styles
• Testing coordination among 3rd party testing laboratories, internal teams and suppliers
• Review and optimize constantly the work flow of testing and care label related process
• Maintain all testing & care label related documents, and retain records of their change log
• Monitor the performance and services provided from 3rd parties lab service providers

EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Textiles or Science or related discipline.
• At least 5 years solid experience in apparel testing
• Experience in material and product assessments
• Knowledge of international quality standards and product safety
• Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with all related parties
• Good communication, problem solving & analysis skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Willing to travel
• Experience with luxury woven fabric preferable
