Job Description Summary:

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer 1 with expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Java development to join our team at ModMed Technologies India Private Limited. This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable IAM solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement secure and efficient IAM solutions using Java and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other engineering teams to define technical requirements and specifications for IAM features.
• Lead the development of critical IAM components, including authentication, authorization, user provisioning, and single sign-on.
• Perform code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to IAM systems.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability within the IAM domain.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging IAM technologies and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of IAM concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, LDAP, SCIM).
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, including agile methodologies, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
