Job Title: Senior Requirements Engineer for Web-Based Commission Reporting

Role Description

As a Requirements Engineer for web-based commission reporting systems, you will analyze and design technical requirements for a reporting platform used by financial advisers to view commission earnings and related financial reports. Working at the intersection of business, product, and technology, you will ensure that end-to-end incentive- and commission-related requirements are clearly understood, validated, and implemented.

Your key responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Engage stakeholders across business, product, and operations to translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development and testing teams.
• System Design and Interface Specification: Define front-end user interface requirements, including usability and navigation, in alignment with back-end database implementation, including data structures, SQL queries, and mappings.
• Integration and Process Mapping: Analyze end-to-end commission reporting processes and specify integration requirements among front-end portals, core calculation platforms such as SAP FS-ICM, and other internal upstream and downstream systems.
• Project Delivery Support: Support solution design, maintain end-to-end traceability, and manage requirement changes. Contribute to backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies while promoting consistent documentation standards to safeguard the delivery approach and governance.
• Testing Support: Review technical and functional test cases and assist business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Your skills and experience

• Experience: At least eight years of experience in requirements engineering, business analysis, or product analysis within complex enterprise applications, ideally with senior-level responsibility for requirements.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, enabling proactive problem-solving and holistic stakeholder management.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of incentive, commission, compensation, or financial reporting processes.
• Technical Familiarity: Experience with portal and web applications (for example, Angular or similar front-end technologies), databases (Oracle and SQL), and system integration.
• Methodology and Tools: Strong knowledge of Agile delivery practices and proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows, and solve business problems while applying critical judgement to ensure the responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
