Join our growing Supply Chain team in Visp as an Senior Operational Buyer 80-100% (m/f/d). Are you passionate about procurement, supplier management, and driving operational excellence? In this key role, you will lead procurement activities for assigned portfolios, build strong supplier partnerships, and contribute to the transformation of our supply chain processes. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will help ensure supply continuity, optimize vendor performance, and drive digitalization initiatives that support our continued growth in Visp. This role is primarily based on site. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards. We offer flexibility to work remotely for no more than 20% of your time. Requests are considered on a case‑by‑case basis, in line with business needs.

What you will do:
Lead and coordinate procurement activities for assigned portfolios, ensuring continuity of supply, cost competitiveness, and compliance with procurement standards.
Guide and support the Buyer team, providing direction on priorities, processes, and best procurement practices.
Manage supplier relationships and drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives through regular business reviews, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement plans.
Oversee vendor performance, identifying opportunities to improve delivery reliability, quality, service levels, and regulatory compliance.
Drive digitalization and process standardization across procurement activities, ensuring effective use of SAP and other procurement tools.
Collaborate closely with Planning, Logistics, Quality Assurance, Finance, and other stakeholders to support operational excellence and supply chain objectives.
Contribute to supply chain transformation and improvement projects, including material creation, supplier onboarding, certificate management, logistics optimization, and invoicing process enhancements.
What we are looking for:
A degree or equivalent experience in SCM, Procurement, or any relevant field.
Proven experience in SCM & Procurement, preferably in a regulated industry.
Good knowledge of SAP MM ERP and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in English is required; German proficiency is advantageous.
