Location: 2501 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32804

• Provides specialized oncology nursing care to patients.
• Verifies staff credentials and ensures compliance with mandatory requirements.
• Manages daily activities of clinical and non-clinical staff to optimize patient care and safety.
• Supervises staff, allocates resources, and liaises with other departments.
• Develops and adheres to the annual budget and plans capital projects. Interviews, hires, orients, leads, mentors, and evaluates staff performance.
• Develops, implements, and enforces evidence-based policies, procedures, and standards.
• Provides clinical perspective for pharmacological and billing decisions.
• Anticipates emerging trends in cancer care and evaluates their impact.
• Ensures continuity of care between inpatient and outpatient oncology services.
• Keeps abreast of new cancer treatments and develops new programs and research opportunities.
• Ensures compliance with Commission on Cancer standards, including survivorship care and patient navigation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
