Job Description Summary:

At The Coca-Cola Company, we are looking for a Senior Manager, Cloud Database with strong Microsoft SQL Server experience across hosted/on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments.

The role will be responsible for the operational support, engineering, performance, and continuous improvement of our Microsoft SQL Server database platforms.

This is a maternity cover role.

What You’ll Do for Us

• Technical ownership and operational support of Microsoft SQL Server environments.

• Administer and support hosted/on-premises SQL Server and Azure database services.

• Support Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines.

• Monitor database availability, performance, capacity, backup, recovery, and overall health.

• Troubleshoot SQL Server, T-SQL, performance, connectivity, and infrastructure-related issues.

• Support database migrations, upgrades, patching, modernization, and cloud transformation activities.

• Design and maintain High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.

• Define and maintain standardized database solutions, operational procedures, and support models.

• Automate routine database administration and operational activities.

• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, cloud, security, and external support teams.

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve database performance, reliability, and operational processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration experience.

• Strong experience with hosted/on-premises Microsoft SQL Server environments.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure database technologies.

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning, backup and recovery, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery.

• Good knowledge of Windows Server and database-related infrastructure components.

• Experience with PowerShell or other database administration automation is an advantage.

• Strong troubleshooting, investigative, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong sense of ownership, commitment, and accountability.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform is considered an advantage.

• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or Oracle RDBMS is considered an advantage.
