Your responsibilities:

As a Senior International Tax Accountant reporting to the Global Head of Tax in our Finance team, your purpose will be to take ownership of international tax compliance, reporting, and transfer pricing workstreams across our growing global footprint. You will collaborate closely with accounting and business teams, research VAT and invoice compliance across European jurisdictions, lead monthly reconciliations, and help streamline external advisor relationships across markets including Spain, France, the UK, and the US. 

What you'll own and impact:

• Own non-Polish entity workstreams (covering markets like the UK, Spain, France, Brazil, South Africa, and Mexico) including managing relationships with external tax advisors in each jurisdiction. 
• Manage day-to-day international tax compliance, reporting, and transfer pricing workstreams.
• Research invoice content and ensure VAT compliance across various European jurisdictions.
• Navigate audit questions and tax-authority inquiries, collaborating on cross-functional product or business initiatives.
• Perform monthly reconciliations with the accounting team and continuously improve tax process documentation.
• Support tax planning, financial reporting, and internal controls - including tax provisions, legislation monitoring, and systems/process improvements (e.g., billing transformation) - to keep pace with the business as it scales. 

The reality of the role: We operate as a small, close-knit global tax team in a scaling environment. Priorities shift quickly around tax deadlines, authority audits, and changing regional regulations across markets-so frequent context-switching and comfort with ambiguity are essential. In return, you’ll gain broad exposure to multiple European and US tax regimes and build true multi-jurisdiction ownership as the business scales.

Requirements

Essentially, to ensure you succeed in this role you’re going to need:

• Professional tax or accounting certifications (such as CPA, ACA, ACCA or local equivalent). 
• Demonstrated expertise in tax compliance, monthly reconciliations, process documentation, and transfer pricing operations.
• Solid understanding of Polish tax regulations combined with exposure to (or a strong appetite to learn) international tax compliance.
• Hands-on proficiency with MS Excel and standard tax preparation/accounting tools.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English, essential for daily communication across international markets and external partners.

It will also help you to have:

• Prior experience working with ERP systems (such as Dynamics NAV) or managing external tax advisor networks.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience operating within a fast-moving technology sector or dynamic scale-up environment.
