We’re a collaborative, curious group that values clear communication, practical recommendations, and inclusive partnership as we help the company manage risk and improve how work gets done.As a Senior Internal Auditor within the Zillow Group Internal Audit Team, you'll be part of a team of skilled compliance professionals that use a collaborative approach to establish a meaningful, trusting and independent relationship with management to reduce risk and drive accountability and process improvement.
About the role
The Senior Internal Auditor will join a fun, fast-paced company as a member of the Internal Audit team. The ideal candidate for this position will have an advanced understanding of internal control concepts and experience in applying them while building relationships with key individuals across the organization.
This is a fully remote role based in Mexico; you can be located anywhere in the country.
You Will Get To:
Assist in defining the scope, approach, and project-specific risks and procedures for internal audit engagements
Prepare workpapers, obtain audit evidence and perform audit procedures for financial audits.
Track audit progress, timing and communicate engagement status to stakeholders
Facilitate in special projects, workflow process improvement proposals, and deficiency assessments.
Propose and evaluate corrective remediation plans from audit findings
Engage with other internal auditors and external auditors regularly for review, training, and mentorship.

Who you are
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
3–5 years of experience in external audit, internal audit, or a related assurance function, preferably with exposure to U.S.-based companies or multinational clients.
Based anywhere in Mexico and excited to join a high-impact, fully remote team.
Experience performing process walkthroughs, testing internal controls, and documenting audit work in line with established methodologies.
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional partners to understand processes, discuss issues, and support remediation efforts
CPC (Contador Público Certificado), CIA, CPA, or equivalent certification preferred.
Experience with SOX or equivalent controls frameworks (CNBV, BMV-listed company audits, or ICFR testing for U.S.-based companies) preferred.
Strong analytical and communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to clearly articulate findings and recommendations to non-audit stakeholders.
