About the Role 

We are seeking a Full-Time Senior Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer, Location - THQ Blackburn, Victoria, tasked with providing a truly exceptional, customer focused service to drive excellence and performance. 

Purpose of the Role 

The Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer plays a critical role in TSA's technology landscape by providing expert support and leadership across our server, cloud, and enterprise infrastructure environments.

Working across technologies including Azure, AWS, VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft Server, Office 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, enterprise storage, cloud hosting and cloud security, you will help design, implement, maintain, and optimise secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions that support organisational priorities and future growth.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to architect innovative infrastructure solutions, ensure seamless platform integration, and contribute to strategic technology initiatives across the organisation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:  

·Provide expert guidance and advice on enterprise systems architecture and infrastructure best practice.

·Design and implement scalable, enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions aligned to business needs and industry standards.

·Monitor, support and optimise the performance, capacity and availability of cloud and infrastructure environments, proactively identifying and addressing issues before they impact operations.

·Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation, diagrams and knowledge management resources to support operational excellence and knowledge sharing.

·Create and execute robust backup, recovery and business continuity strategies to protect critical business systems and data.

·Analyse infrastructure effectiveness and identify opportunities for enhancement, automation and optimisation.

·Act as a key contributor to the Technology Architecture Review Forum (ARF), helping ensure infrastructure solutions align with TSA's mission, strategy and future technology direction.

Education Qualifications:  

·5+ years' experience as Senior Infrastructure Cloud Engineer supporting enterprise infrastructure and cloud technologies within a large and complex environment.

·Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a related discipline (desirable).

·Advanced experience with Azure Cloud Platform and Azure Virtual Desktop.

·Proven experience developing and supporting Azure cloud-based solutions.

·Strong understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practice development approaches.

Industry certifications such as:

o   Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent Azure certifications

o   Microsoft Fundamentals or Associate certifications

o   ITIL V3 or ITIL 4 Foundation

Technical Skills

·Windows 10, Windows 11 and Microsoft Server 2016, 2019 and 2022.

·Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS, NPS, IIS and Group Policy.

·VMware technologies including vCenter, vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T and Dell EMC VxRail.

·Microsoft Endpoint Manager including Intune and SCCM.

·Experience implementing Essential Eight, Information Security Manual (ISM) and Right Fit For Risk (RFFR) controls.

·Advanced scripting and automation skills using PowerShell or similar technologies.
