What You’ll Do
The Senior Graphic Designer Entertainment & Media Creative, reports to the Senior Vice President Creative, Entertainment & Media, supporting the creative needs of Authentic’s Entertainment & Media division. By collaborating with the broader creative team, the Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for everything from new business, partner, and category pitches, to handling day-to-day creative needs for brands such as Shaquille O’Neal, Sports Illustrated, Care Bears, Elvis Presley, Kevin Hart, Marilyn Monroe, and more. The ideal candidate is a strategic creative who has a distinct point of view on design, an eye for detail, and is excited to collaborate with a team.
The Senior Graphic Designer will consistently deliver high-quality creative that strengthens our brands, maintains brand standards and integrity across every touchpoint, supports the growth of the business, and enhances consumer and audience engagement. The Senior Graphic Designer is proactive, highly collaborative, and able to translate strategic and creative direction into thoughtful, polished, production-ready and/or public-facing designs. This role is expected to bring creative thinking to the process, identify opportunities to elevate the work, and take ownership of projects while ensuring alignment with the overall creative vision.
What you’ll be working on
Creative Workflow from Brief to Release and Production
- Translate and adapt existing brand guidelines to support overall business needs with creative for product development, brand extensions, POP, signage, and more, while identifying opportunities to elevate the visual expression
- Ensure consistency of visual communications across all creative touchpoints and adherence to brand standards throughout the creative process, from initial concept through final production
- Work independently to produce high-quality visual content across various media, including digital, print, and social platforms, ensuring all creative aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives
- Deliver high-quality creative development for assigned projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and at brand and creative standards
Brand Assets & Storytelling
- Design and execute tailored, brand-right pitches and presentations, including mockups, infographics, and creative concepts, showcasing strong layout, typography, and visual storytelling abilities
Brand Assets & Storytelling
- Develop a deep understanding of our portfolio of brands and translate their voices, personalities, and visual identities across mediums, while bringing a strong point of view to the work
- Collaborate with Associate Art Director to evolve and refresh brand evergreen assets such as brand books, brand guides, recaps, and other foundational creative materials
- Lead development of new brand creative assets for global distribution
Brand Marketing Deliverables
- Independent design and delivery of digital & print ads, including concept development, design, and final production
Social Media Content Development
- Partner with Associate Art Director to translate campaigns and brand direction into engaging, platform-appropriate creative for owned channels
Must Haves
- 5+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer or Senior Graphic Designer and/or degree in Graphic Design
- Adobe Creative Suite with focus on InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Web, Video, Motion Graphics, and/or retouching experience a plus
- Strong portfolio demonstrating brand-building across multiple platforms and touchpoints
- Strong understanding of fundamental design principles (typography, color, layout) and well-versed in current design trends and technical graphic design best practices
- Experienced in creative problem solving, innovative visual storytelling, and working strategically across disciplines
- Must be able to independently set priorities, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Comfortable in a high-paced, collaborative environment
- Highly detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers when appropriate
Primary Location Salary Range: $85,000 – $95,000
