Job Summary

Our client is looking for a Frontend-Leaning Software Engineer to join their product team. While their current engineering bench is deeply rooted in backend architecture, they are looking for a specialist to bridge the gap between robust data structures and a world-class user interface.

They need a "browser-first" engineer—someone who is obsessed with the user's experience, highly skilled in modern CSS and styling, and capable of navigating a modern full-stack ecosystem without losing sight of pixel-perfect execution. You will partner closely with a backend-focused team to transform complex data into seamless, elegant interfaces, ensuring every interaction feels intuitive, performant, and visually exceptional while elevating frontend standards across the platform.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and develop the frontend for our client's core platforms, ensuring they meet the high aesthetic standards of the brand.

• Master the Styles: Take full ownership of CSS, layout, and responsive design, ensuring applications are fluid, performant, and visually stunning.

• Collaborate Across the Stack: Work closely with a backend-heavy team to integrate APIs and data models into a seamless, intuitive frontend experience.

• Component Architecture: Build and maintain a scalable, reusable UI library that allows for rapid feature iteration across Next.js and SvelteKit environments.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on frontend development.

• Expert-level proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

• Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.

• Proven experience building complex, responsive web applications from scratch.

• Strong communication skills, you’ll be the primary advocate for frontend excellence on our client's team.

• Comfortable working across the stack when needed (Node.js, APIs, PostgreSQL).
