Senior facilities Manager
As the Senior Facilities Executive, you will play a critical role in shaping a safe, efficient, and dynamic workplace environment that empowers ChargePoint’s teams to drive the future of electric mobility. By overseeing daily operations, you will ensure our workspace reflects our commitment to quality, innovation, and operational excellence.
What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will manage day-to-day workplace operations encompassing soft services, technical maintenance, pantry/cafeteria management, and essential logistics. Success will be measured by your ability to maintain high facility uptime, ensure strict safety compliance, seamlessly manage vendor relationships, and deliver an exceptional, high-quality workplace experience for all internal stakeholders and visitors.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Manage daily facility operations, ensuring adherence to workplace standards, space management, and seamless execution of office moves or planning initiatives.
- Oversee soft services including housekeeping, waste management, and landscaping, maintaining strict cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate technical maintenance schedules (preventive and corrective) for HVAC, Electrical, UPS, Fire & Life Safety, and Access Control systems.
- Direct pantry and cafeteria services, managing catering requirements, hygiene standards, and consumable inventory while monitoring food vendor performance.
- Drive vendor and contract management by processing purchase requests, reviewing invoices, monitoring budgets, and tracking SLA/KPI performance.
- Ensure strict compliance with statutory health and safety regulations, supporting fire safety programs, emergency response, and periodic safety audits.
- Coordinate basic import and export logistics for office equipment and IT assets, liaising with logistics providers and maintaining compliance documentation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for facility-related requests, delivering prompt resolution to service tickets and ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Monitor utility consumption and actively support energy-saving and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
Requirements
- Years of Experience: 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in facilities management within corporate offices, IT parks, or multinational organizations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing both soft services and technical facility operations (HVAC, Electrical, UPS, Fire & Life Safety systems).
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills, with the ability to track SLAs, conduct audits, and manage facility budgets.
- Experience coordinating basic import and export logistics and managing asset inventory.
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Facility Management Systems (CMMS/CAFM, ServiceNow, or ERP systems like SAP/Oracle).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Facility Management (IFMA/FMP/SFM), Safety, or related disciplines.
