What You Will Be Doing
The Senior position at ChargePoint, Inc. is an opportunity for a seasoned business applications developer to make a significant contribution to ChargePoint’s growth and maturation. The position reports to the Manager, NetSuite Business Systems and will share responsibility for development and maintenance of cloud-based application suite as well as defining and implementing solutions to integrate disparate applications, improve data organization and data mining capabilities, tailor reporting capabilities and improve end user productivity.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Proficiency in customizing NetSuite ERP applications and in the use of NS scripting and APIs to integrate with other business applications
- Experience with SuiteScript 1.0, 2.0, 2.1, SuiteBuilder configuration and SuiteFlows
- Ability to create and maintain Suitelet, RESTlet, User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Client, Portlet and other NetSuite specific scripts
- Experience in developing the NetSuite Advanced PDF/HTML templates
- Experience with Intercompany process and Inventory Management modules
- Experience with Web Services (SOAP and REST), APIs, ODBC and other integration technologies
- Proficiency in writing SQL/T-SQL Queries and Scripts for database manipulation and cleansing
- In addition to core solutioning responsibilities, providing technical support, addressing user issues, and troubleshooting system problems related to NetSuite – on need basis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
- 5-7+ years of experience as a NetSuite application developer in a high-tech business environment with Supply Chain and Finance functional knowledge
- Two or more years of experience developing business applications using Agile methodology
- A demonstrated ability to work with groups of people at all levels of the company to forge agreement to systems requirements and priorities
- Significant participation in or leadership of at least one full implementation of NetSuite
- Familiarity with business processes and a demonstrated ability to express business needs as application requirements
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into technical requirements
- Excellent documentation and communication skills tailored for non-technical audiences
- Availability to work within the US Pacific Time Zone — approximately 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM IST
Skills that will set you apart:
- NetSuite Certifications: SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer Certification
- Business analysis experience in a global supply chain / contract manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Agile related project management tools (such as Jira)
- Expertise in Accounting/Finance/Operations/Supply Chain/Inventory & Logistics processes
- Specific expertise in any of the following:
- com and Apex programming language
- Mulesoft Integration
- Arena PLM
- Avalara integration
- 3PL integration
- Standard costing
- Time spent as a systems user/SME in a global operations environment
- Demonstrated success in development of forecasting, planning, ATP tools for configured product
- Expert in other development tools (e.g. Eclipse, Java, CI/CD)
- Significant participation in or leadership of at least one project to implement automated data transfer with external business partner (e.g. EDI)
