Use Your Power for Purpose

The Senior Director, ES Program Management and Center of Excellence serves, as a pivotal strategic leader within External Supply (ES), responsible for shaping and supporting the future of ES strategy, intelligence, governance, and execution across the organization.

The role provides strategic leadership, deployment and value realization for the teams and capabilities responsible for advancing ES Vision and Strategy, EMAP Operating Efficiencies, Program Management and Center of Excellence.  The incumbent provides executive oversight of the ES strategic portfolio and PC1 technology transfer program portfolio, ensuring strategic initiatives remain aligned with enterprise objectives and deliver measurable business outcomes. Success is achieved through influence rather than authority, bringing together diverse stakeholders, aligning competing priorities, and converting strategy into value. The ideal candidate is a visionary strategist, exceptional collaborator, and transformational leader with a passion for building capabilities, enabling informed decisions, and helping shape the future of External Supply.  The incumbent leads a global organization of 10 direct reports (5 Directors and 5 Managers) across the Center of Excellence team (Ireland Hub and Tampa, FL Hub), and is accountable for ensuring effective support to all ES Clusters and Categories through the delivery of governance, operational support, digital transformation, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role regularly engages and influences stakeholders across the entire ES community, spanning from Operations colleagues through VP and Senior Vice President levels, and requires managing highly complex program management across this full breadth of the organization. The incumbent carries executive accountability for the ES EMAP Operating Efficiencies program, targeting a 6% cost reduction across total ES vendor spend, currently estimated at $414M over a 3-year horizon. The PC1 technology transfer portfolio further requires the incumbent to navigate a complex external stakeholder network spanning internal Pfizer Site leaders, Client Senior Leaders (up to and including CEO-level executives), and PGS/ES senior leadership, with a revenue of $1.02B to Pfizer Inc.

Incumbent to lead in AI-native culture building and AI efficient/effective business processes establishments across Program Management Office and Center of Excellence.
