What you'll be doing

The People, Culture and Talent team helps shape the experiences that support our people, our culture, and our workplace so we can help make our clients’ ambitions a reality. As a Senior Director, Indigenous Relations & Reconciliation, you’ll lead CIBC’s enterprise strategy for Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation, ensuring it aligns with our inclusion priorities, Truth and Reconciliation commitments, and broader business objectives. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, Human Resources partners, and business stakeholders to embed Indigenous inclusion and reconciliation priorities into workforce strategies, talent practices, and business planning. You’ll also represent CIBC in internal and external forums, helping build meaningful partnerships and advance our commitments with credibility, accountability, and care.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

  • People leadership - Lead and develop a high-performing team, creating an inclusive environment that inspires collaboration, accountability, and meaningful impact.
