Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain software applications using Clojure or ClojureScript following coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into efficient and scalable solutions.
- Build and maintain web applications integrated with backend services and databases.
- Ensure responsive behavior and optimal application performance.
- Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases using appropriate Clojure libraries.
- Optimize database queries and transactions for efficiency.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for integration with other system components.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Clojure; Haskell or Scala experience is acceptable if able to learn Clojure quickly.
- Experience with functional programming paradigms and concepts.
- Experience implementing RESTful services.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Understanding of software development best practices, including Git, testing, and continuous integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience with Reagent.
