Responsibilities
- Design, build, monitor, and maintain integrations across Salesforce, NetSuite, product backends, billing platforms, and AWS Redshift.
- Develop reliable integrations using API-based, event-driven, batch, file-based, and queue-based patterns.
- Own uptime, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and recovery for business-critical integrations.
- Design resilient integrations using retries, idempotency, reconciliation, and fault-tolerant patterns.
- Define reusable integration patterns, naming conventions, and error-handling standards.
- Replace brittle point-to-point connections with scalable and documented integration patterns.
- Define and manage data contracts, field mappings, transformations, and integration documentation.
- Partner with Business Systems, Engineering, and external consultants on connected systems and handoffs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and operating production integrations.
- Hands-on experience with an iPaaS or middleware platform such as Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato, Informatica, or similar.
- Strong experience with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, webhooks, event-driven architectures, batch processing, file-based integrations, and messaging or queue systems.
- Experience integrating Salesforce and NetSuite with enterprise platforms.
- Experience working with AWS Redshift or enterprise data warehouses.
- Solid experience with JSON, XML, SQL, data mapping, and data transformation.
- Experience owning business-critical integrations in production.
- Experience building secure integrations involving HIPAA, PHI, access controls, audit trails, encryption, secrets management, and least-privilege access.
- Experience in SaaS, high-growth, healthcare, or behavioral health environments.
- Experience establishing an integration practice from a brittle point-to-point environment.
