Job description

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, automate, and operate enterprise container platforms supporting large-scale application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, setup, deploy, and administer Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters across multiple environments on-premises.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and platform automation.

• Develop Infrastructure as Code for platform provisioning and configuration management.

• Deploy and operate platform services including OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF), HashiCorp Vault, Red Hat AMQ Broker, monitoring, and logging stacks.

• Implement secrets management, certificate management, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening controls.

• Configure monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and OpenShift Monitoring.

• Implement backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and operational automation procedures.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, deployment, performance, and availability issues.

• Support migration and operation of containerized Java applications running on OpenShift.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes administration.

• Strong experience with AWS cloud platform.

• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI or equivalent.

• Strong Linux administration experience (RHEL preferred).

• Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Ansible.

• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms including Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging solutions.

• Experience implementing backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and platform operations.

• Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash and/or Python.

• Good English communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience migrating workloads from AWS to Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.

• AWS Certificates (SAA-C03, SOA-C03) Kubernetes Certificates (CKA, CKAD)
