About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Global AP Team. This role is responsible for validating invoice processing accuracy across multiple subsidiaries and currencies, performing flux (variance) analyses, reviewing purchase requisitions, and managing audit requests and supporting documentation. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

You Will:

• Validate invoice processing accuracy across multiple subsidiaries and currencies, identifying errors and coordinating with processors to ensure timely correction, in compliance with departmental procedures; compile a summary report at month end for management review.
• Perform flux (variance) analyses.
• Prepare and provide audit requests and supporting documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review purchase requisitions prior to conversion into purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with departmental procedures.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly tax filings (e.g., BIR filings), as applicable by jurisdiction.
• Respond to internal and external stakeholder inquiries regarding payment-related matters.
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting tasks.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations (BSRs) to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, setting individual goals and managing workload, while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Identify and implement process improvements; manage small to medium-sized projects.
• Exercise sound judgment, proactively solve problems, and recommend solutions to improve financial operations and team efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Global AP Team and organizational objectives.

You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role
• Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system is a plus
• Familiarity with AI tools is highly preferred
• Experience managing projects is beneficial
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
