Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to be part of the Company's Philippine operations.
In this role will work closely with the US Finance team while independently managing the Company’s Finance, Treasury, statutory, government, PEZA, banking, payroll, and administrative requirements in the Philippines. This is a hands-on role. The position requires personally managing both Finance and administrative/operational tasks—including processing, filing, government submissions, permit processing, check collection, document handling, follow-up, and coordination—and seeing assigned matters through to completion.
YOUR ROLE:
- Manage day-to-day Finance and Treasury requirements for the Philippine operations, including cash requirements, financial reports, reconciliations, and related documentation.
- Coordinate funding requirements and financial matters with the US Finance team.
- Review payroll, including timekeeping, attendance, overtime, leave, deductions, and other payroll adjustments, and coordinate with the payroll provider to resolve discrepancies and complete payroll process
- Review monthly payroll and final pay computations based on supporting documentation.
- Process and monitor statutory payments, government filings, BIR requirements, and regulatory submissions.
- Manage business permits, licenses, registrations, and government compliance requirements, including direct liaison with BIR, PEZA, SEC, LGUs, and other government agencies.
- Prepare, review, and submit PEZA reports and coordinate Farm-In/Farm-Out permits and related requirements.
- Manage banking administration, including MBOS/MBTC user access, SOX reporting, foreign exchange documentation, and banking requirements.
- Coordinate Company check releases and personally pick up checks from the designated check releasing center when required.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to requests, and coordinating with auditors and the US Finance team.
- Prepare and maintain management, Finance, statutory, regulatory, and corporate documentation.
- Perform other Finance, Treasury, compliance, and administrative responsibilities as required.
Requirements
YOUR BACKGROUND:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Current CPA license is highly preferred.
- Relevant experience in Finance, Treasury, statutory compliance, or a related function.
- Experience with PEZA, BIR, business permits, statutory payments, and government reporting is highly preferred.
- Experience reviewing payroll and working with payroll providers.
- Experience supporting audits and SOX requirements is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with scheduled on-site work as required.
