Your Opportunity
Our GTA Audit Practice is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the team, with flexibility to work from either of our two offices: Toronto or Oakville. This is an existing vacancy where you will own the following responsibilities:
Lead and conduct audit and review engagements, preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory and firm standards.
Coordinate year-end assurance engagements for clients across a range of industries, including supporting information for corporate tax filings (prepared by the tax team).
Apply working knowledge of accounting frameworks such as ASPE, ASNPO, IFRS, and US GAAP, as appropriate to client needs.
Build and maintain positive client relationships by responding promptly to requests and delivering high-quality service.
Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand services with existing clients.
Communicate regularly with engagement team members to provide progress updates and raise issues proactively.

Your experience and education
You have completed your CPA designation or are in the process of completion.
You have 2-3 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry.
You enjoy working with high growth and dynamic private enterprises and have experience in relation to ASPE files
You are keen to develop further knowledge about the business, assurance and regulatory requirements of private businesses.
You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
The expected range of compensation for this role is $62,000 - $96,000 annually.
