Role : Sales Finance Manager

As the Sales Finance Manager, you will serve as the primary financial business partner to the Demand Leadership teams for our Organized Trade and Digital Commerce channels. Deeply embedded within the sales organization, you will drive profitable growth, maximize market share, optimize trade investments, and lead digital transformation. This is a high-visibility, commercial finance role where your data-driven insights will directly shape strategic decisions and maximize commercial efficiency.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience: 3 to 4 years of progressive experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, or Business Partnering within the FMCG or Retail sectors.

• Channel Familiarity: Proven track record of managing commercial finance specifically for Modern Trade (Organized Trade) and Digital Commerce/E-commerce channels.

• Systems & Digital Fluency: Practical working experience with SAP, Power BI, and advanced Excel.

Nice-to-Haves (Preferred):

• Education: Professional financial qualification (e.g., CA / Chartered Accountant) is highly preferred.

• Competencies: Strong business acumen, ease presenting to senior management, and the ability to comfortably navigate ambiguity.

What would be your key responsibilities?

You will lead financial performance management, investment optimization, and credit control for our key retail channels.

• Commercial Co-Piloting: Act as the strategic partner to Organized Trade Channel Heads and National Key Account Managers to co-create profitable sales strategies and evaluate optimal customer-level profitability (Net Sales Value, gross margins, and contribution margins).

• Trade & Spend Optimization: Gain end-to-end transparency over A&CP and Trade spend, conducting rigorous pre- and post-facto promotional evaluations to guide optimal budget deployment and ROI.

• Governance & Working Capital Management: Raise governance standards and compliance for credit extensions and promotional spending; partner with Order-to-Cash (OTC) Shared Services to streamline receivables, process hygiene, and payment collections.

• Digital-First Transformation: Leverage Power BI and advanced Excel to automate routine reporting, eliminate manual bottlenecks, and deliver agile, data-driven financial insights for periodic S&OP+ decision-making.
