Position Summary:

This job is responsible for providing risk analysis, reporting, and governance support. Key responsibilities include identifying and analyzing risks to which the LOB is exposed, implementing measures to prevent and mitigate losses, monitoring risk outcomes, and supporting governance routines across the organization. Job expectations include the ability to recognize all risk categories including credit, market, operational, and compliance risk; preparing and enhancing recurring reporting and governance routines; supporting management forums and committees; administering governance processes; and coordinating cross-functional reporting, analysis, and governance activities for the aligned LOB.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
 

Reporting & Governance

  • Partner with the Reporting & Governance Manager, Risk Executives, and key stakeholders across the enterprise to support reporting, governance, and risk management activities in accordance with the company's risk governance framework and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting, analysis, and governance requests from executives, business partners, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of committee materials 
  • Coordinate governance routines, committee logistics, meeting materials, action item tracking, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support the enhancement, automation, and continuous improvement of reporting processes, data mining tools, metrics, and management information.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to prepare governance documentation, reporting materials, procedures, and supporting evidence.
  • Assist with audit, regulatory, and governance reviews, including the compilation and validation of supporting documentation and reporting deliverables.
  • Provide risk analysis and reporting to governance forums and committees to support effective oversight and adherence to established governance standards.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of risk management procedures, governance standards, reporting routines, and process documentation.
  • Support implementation of controls designed to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, governance effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor reporting outcomes and governance indicators to identify emerging risks, trends, and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Administer and maintain governance processes, reporting inventories, documentation repositories, and related applications supporting governance routines.

Portfolio Support:

  • Prepare, analyze, and deliver recurring reporting packages, dashboards, metrics, and management information for senior leadership, governance forums, and committees 
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis requests

  • Audit and regulatory support
  • ECGBR COO portfolio support across multiple credit portfolios
  • Reporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Issues Management & Single Process Inventory (SPI)
  • Produce, analyze, and distribute recurring Issues Management reporting, including key metrics, trends, aging analysis, remediation progress, governance reporting, and executive summaries.
  • Produce, maintain, and analyze Single Process Inventory (SPI) reporting to support process governance, inventory accuracy, change management activities, and ongoing monitoring routines.
  • Partner with process owners, Credit Risk LRRG SMEs, and governance stakeholders to support SPI submissions, reporting validations, data quality reviews, and remediation activities.
  • Identify reporting trends, data quality concerns, process gaps, and governance opportunities and escalate observations to management as appropriate.
  • Support the preparation of executive-level presentations and reporting related to Issues Management, SPI, regulatory commitments, and other governance portfolios.
  • Coordinate recurring reporting and governance activities across multiple portfolios within the ECGBR COO organization.
