I. Major Responsibilities:

1.    Assessment: Assess and document the patient's physical, psychological, and social needs using professional judgment.
2.    Planning: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and communicate individualized care plans.
3.    Implementation: Provide individualized care, apply de-escalation techniques, and act as a resource for psychiatric medication management.
4.    Evaluation: Evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient response and team input.
5.    Organizational Skills: Prioritize tasks effectively in dynamic and emergency situations.
6.    Resource Utilization: Direct care team members and implement problem-solving strategies.

II. Position Qualifications:
License/Certification/Education:
Required:
1.    Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing for Registered Nurses
2.    Current RN license in Massachusetts
3.    Current CPR certification
Preferred:
1.    N/A
 

Experience/Skills:
Required:
1.    Minimum of 1 year of experience in providing care to Behavioral Health patients
Preferred:
1.    Minimum of 1 year of experience in Emergency Care
